Virgin Money London Marathon Organizers Announce Farah's Inclusion in 2018 Race After the Great Britain Star Wins Fourth Consecutive Great North RunBy Adam Kopet Mo Farah is officially going to run the 2018 Virgin Money London Marathon, according to a press release. This will be Farah's third time running in the event. He completed the first half of the race in 2013 and then raced the entire distance in 2014. In that latter race, Farah finished eighth in a time of 2:08:21. The announcement came on the same day that Farah won his fourth consecutive Great North Run title, running 60:06 for the half marathon distance. Farah is permanently moving to the roads after having retired from racing on the track in August. |
